Vor vielen Monaten hat unsere Yahoo-group Club creative ein Black and White Fatbook für die Somerset Studio hergestellt.Jede von uns hat 2-3 Fatbook Seiten gemacht.
Ich dachte schon das Buch wird nicht veröffentlicht und ihr könnt Euch vorstellen wie groß die Freude war als heute die Somerset Studio von Jan/Feb 2010 in meinem Briefkasten war.
Sie haben einen Artikel über unsere Fatbook geschrieben und natürlich auch Fotos davon eingestellt. Ich habe mich total gefreut als ich sah das alle 3 seiten von mir veröffentlicht worden sind, was für ein schönes Weihnachtsgeschenk!
Meine allererste Veröffentlichung in einer der Zeitschriften von Stampington;-)

Ich komme frisch erholt aus Sardinien und bin hellauf begeistert von dieser wunderschönen Insel.Olivenbäume wo man nur hinschaut-türkisblaues Wasser-herrliche Landschaften.....und obwohl es schon Ende Oktober war sind wir sonnengebräunt wieder gekommen.Was brauch man denn die Kabrik wenn es in Europa so schön ist.

Sorry for my english;-)I have had wonderful holidays in Sardinien-There are Olivetrees all over,beautiful turquoise water and so great landscapes.We were there at the end of october and most time it was so sunny like the summer in Germany.We wear shorts and shirts.Why i should travel to the kabrik when we have so beautiful places in Europe.

Ich bin tatsächlich total verliebt in mein neues altes Bettlerarmband.Das Armband ist aus Silber und über 50 Jahre alt.Besonders schön finde ich die kleine Krone und den Vogelkäfig-den man sogar öffnen kann-innen sitzt ein kleiner silberner Vogel.Das Armband stammt aus England.
Ich würde so gerne wissen wem es gehörte und was für eine Geschichte das Armband hat;-)
I´m so in love with my new old charm bracelet-can you see the pretty tiny bird cage-its made from sterling silver in the 40´th and there is a tiny bird inside.
The tiny crown is also beautiful.this bracelet comes from the UK and i wish i know everything from the story of this bracelet.

Ich habe bestimmt fast 1 Jahr nichts mehr gebloggt(ich war lange krank und hatte auch keine Muse),jetzt wird einfach mal wieder Zeit.Ich habe seit circa 2 Jahren einen Dawanda Shop,habe dort aber ewig nichts eingestellt.Seit circa 4 Monaten betreibe ich den shop jetzt wieder ganz aktiv und ich wollte Euch mal ein paar Fotos zeigen.Dawanda hat übrigens ein paar wunderschöne Shops,es lohnt sich mal vorbei zu schauen.
Die Girlande war eine Auftragsarbeit und kommt in das Zimmer eines kleinen Jungen der erst in ein paar Tagen geboren wird.Die tollen alten Holzspulen sind wirklich riesig,ich habe sie in Frankreich gefunden.

I cant get enough of vintage wallpapers.I love the floral pattern with a pastel background.Its hard to find beautiful wallpapers in germany ,but we have internet and also i can look in the United States too.

My daughter Malika and i were one week on the sea.It was a recreative time and we have had so much fun with swimming,laying on the beach,we have charter a pedal boat and we vist different cities.
Back at home, the everyday life catches up us fast and everything goes again from front off.Here a few nice pictures of our Baltic Sea trip.And you can see,my little daughter is now a Teeny:)

Since a while i´m working on an old shadowbox in house shape which i found on fleamarket.Its a larger one, measures approx.50 inch. It was dirty and damaged and i have repairs it and painted the house with an antique white.
For some month ago i have create another shadobox like this and it was so much fun to work on it.Here is a sneak peak,its not finish but i hope soon.I love the tiny treasures i have done in the house,the little velvet strawberries are so pretty and i love the velvet rose i bought from holly doodles shop.

The german dinner ware has mostly a simple pattern,but i love it than its really old and from my family.
I have bought the salt and pepper shakers from ebay.de for 3€.They are from the early 1900´s and the top is real silver.

I cant get enough of these pretty pastel vintage glass buttons, my new obsession!For a few weeks ago i have meet a nice lady.She has a large collection of these old buttons.
Many Years ago she has bought the buttons from a man who has worked in a button factory, in Czech Republic.
These buttons are produced in the 40´s and 50´s and they´re not produced any more.
I love to work with it,i sew them on garlands or adhere it on cones or boxes.Hope my english is good enough to understand :)

Here are my cheap trick for Michelle Wards Crusade Nr:8 I love old rusty things. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive. I rust my metal parts myself. You must act in a small bowl vinegar and a lot of salt, then there you put during 24 hours copper parts (in Germany are cents of copper). After 24 hours you get the copper cents out and lay them on Tissuepaper(like toilettepaper). Then these get a green patina. Now in the vinegar salt liquid you lay, again 24 hours, all things you would like to rust (however, they must be of iron). After 24 hours you get everything again from the liquid and lay it on Tissuepaper. Then in the air the iron things catch in to rust.I hope you understand my explanation

heute mußte ich mal meine kleinen Schätze fotografieren. Es ist so schön wenn man es in Gläsern in allen Farben glitzern sieht. Ich liebe meine Gläser voll mit Perlen, Bändern, alten Knöpfen und anderen kleinen Kostbarkeiten.....

einen wunderschönen Muttertag wünsche ich uns allen, in der Hoffnung das meine zwei Kinder an ihn denken.Das Muttertagsgeschenk meiner 10-jährigen Tochter mußte ich mir vor ein paar Tagen selber besticken und als ich meinen 18- jährigen Sohn fragte ob er wüßte welcher Tag morgen sein, sagte er nur:" Sonntag, warum?"
Schon im zarten Kindergartenalter verschenkte er die Muttertagsgeschenke lieber seinem Onkel, als mir.
Aber lieben tun wir sie doch auch wenn sie zu cool für den Muttertag sind,oder wir unsere Geschenke zum Teil selber herstellen müssen. Wie gut das es manchmal noch Väter gibt, die den Muttertag dann doch nicht vergessen und mit der kleinen Tochter am Samstagabend noch schnell los ziehen um ein paar Pralinen oder am Sonntagmorgen noch einen Blumenstrauß zu kaufen. A happy motherday to all of us, with hope that my two children think of this day.I had to embroider the mother day present of my 10-year-old daughter Malika to me a few days ago myself and when I asked my 18-year-old son Nikolai:"Do you know wich day tomorrow is?" he asked me:" Sunday,why?"Already at the tender kindergarten (nursery) age he given away the mother day presents rather to his uncle, than to me. However, we love them nevertheless, even if they are too cool for the mother's day , or we must produce our presents partly ourselves. How well there are sometimes still fathers who do not forget the mother's day and wich go with the little daughter in the city to buy pralines or a bouquet of flowers.Sorry ladies my english isnt so good but i hope you understand .

Flohmarkt in Karlsruhe/ Flea market in Karlsruhe

Diese wunderschönen Sachen habe ich heute auf dem Flohmarkt gekauft. Mein ganzer Stolz ist der alte Zahlenstempel und die wunderschöne Spitze.Ich mußte nach circa 2 Stunden gehen,sonst hätte ich warscheinlich noch mehr gekauft. Allerdings sind auf diesem Flohmarkt auch viele Händler und die Sachen sind teilweise dann doch sehr teuer.

Diesen Shrine habe ich für Ostern gemacht. Der Shrine ist ziemlich klein, er ist nur 15 cm hoch und 6,5 cm breit aber dafür relativ tief ( 5,5 cm).Leider ist eins der Bilder etwas unscharf, ich hoffe ihr könnt trotzdem alles erkennen.
Der Shrine ist mehrfach mit gesso bemalt worden, an der Ecken habe ich das Gesso dann wieder abgeschliffen. Das Papier ist vom Flohmarkt und von Cathrine Moore.

Für einen Tausch via Künstlerdecos zum Thema "Männer mit Bärten" habe ich diese zwei atc gemacht.
Sie bestehen aus mehreren Schichten gesso( mein absoluter Favorit zur Zeit),Pastellkreiden, Ölkreiden,Stempeln und Collagebildern.

Das ist die erste altered cabinet card die ich gemacht habe.Der Junge auf dem Bild ist mein Ur-Ur-Großonkel oder so etwas Ähnliches.Ich habe die cabinet card mit gesso angemalt, dann blaue Softpastellkreide darüber gerieben und wieder mit gesso übermalt. Danach habe ich die Farbe wieder teilweise abgeschmirgelt.Leider habe ich noch keine schöne Aufhängung gefunden.

Flohmarkt Beute

Gestern war ch mit Xela auf dem Flohmarkt und dies ist meine Ausbeute. Es war der erste Flohmarkt der wieder draußen stattfand , aber leider war noch sehr wenig los. Trotzdem haben wir einen tollen Stand entdeckt, mit alten Büchern, Ordner mit ganz alten Unterlagen, alte Brief, Ziffernblätter aus Blech, Emailiert etc, aber die wollten wahnsinnig viel Geld für die Sachen haben. Von daher ist die Ausbeute recht mager.
Dasalte kartenspiel haben wir aber günstig bekommen und dann geteilt.

So hier kommt die zweite Jarfairy.Die erste Jarfairy war für einen Tausch via künstlerdecos( für Sandra).Diesmal habe ich etwas kräftigere Farben benutzt( siehe die Flügel).Allerdings mag ich natur Farben doch am Liebsten.

Von meiner Freundin Nicki habe ich zum Geburtstag zwei wunderschöne alte Zigarrenkisten bekommen. Aus einer von den Zweien habe ich einen Shrine gemacht. Hier kommt das Ergebniss. Den wunderschönen Zaun und den Stern habe ich im Übrigen auch von ihr geschenkt bekommen.

Dies ist mein Beitrag für das Thema " Think Pink" der Wednesdaystamper. Ich habe nur einen Stempel von stampers anoymous benutzt. Think Pink ist ja nicht so meine Farbe von daher ist die Collage auch eher schlicht ausgefallen.
Die anderen zwei Collagen habe ich für das Valentine Ketting von Christine Shebroe gemacht. Dafür habe ich stempel von 7Gypsies benutzt.

Die liebe Sandra hat mich getagged, d.h. ich muß 6 abgedrehte Angewohnheiten in meinem blog veröffentlichen und natürlich 6 andere Leute taggen.
Also los gehts, muß erstmal überlegen ob meine Angewohnheiten auch so abgedreht sind?!

1: Ich sitze nie an meinem Basteltisch, sondern mache alles im Stehen.( was mittlerweile ziemlich auf den Rücken geht, bin ja auch nicht mehr die Jüngste ;)

2: Ich bin ein absoluter Chaot! Ich schreibe alles auf kleine Zettel ,die dann in der ganzen Wohnung verteilt sind. Wenn ich sie ja wenigstens alle auf einen bestimmten Platz legen würde! Nein,ich verteile sie, im Regal,in der Schublade, in meinem Schreibtisch, in meiner Tasche etc.Deshalb muß ich viele Leute immer wieder um ihre Adressen oder sonst was bitten, da ich die Zettel nicht wieder finde.

3:Ich schaffe es nicht einen Tag, mal keinen Fleck auf meinen Klamotten zu haben. Sei es Farbe vom Basteln, oder ich kleckere mich mit irgendwas anderem voll.

4:Ich mache alles auf den letzten Drücker. Ich bin leider niemand der,wenn er weiß, er muß zu einem bestimmten Datum etwas fertig machen oder abgeben, dies rechtzeitig tut. Ich mache es dann immer erst einen Tag vorher, gerade was meinen Job betrifft. Ich muß Ausschreibungen und Programme schreiben, Quiz vorbereiten oder Abschlußberichte schreiben.Oft habe ich genug Zeit dafür, aber ch schaffe es nie es in ruhe zu machen,sonderen mache mir eine Menge Stress, weil ich es erst kurz vor Schluß mache.

5:Ich bin nur richtig kreativ wenn ich das Chaos um mich habe. Meinen Basteltisch findt man selten aufgeräumt vor, sondern immer chaotisch( außer ich bekomme Besuch)!Mir kommen immer erst dir richtigen Ideenwenn alles um mich herum verteilt ist.

6: Jetzt wirds langsam schwer!Ich bin wahnsinnig ungeduldig. Deshalb habe ich mich auch noch nicht ans Löten getraut.Ich habe im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, keine Ruhe im Arsch. Sehe ich einen tollen Stempel oder rub-ons oder oder oder... Ich will es sofort haben! Auch wenn ich weiß das ich mich erstmal in Ruhe schauen sollte oder überlegen sollte ob ich das überhaupt brauche, ich muß es gleich jetzt und sofort haben,tun etc. Leider habe ich so schon viele Fehlkäufe gemacht, aber ich kann es mir einfach nicht abgewöhnen

Ob das alles jetzt abgedrehte Angewohnheiten sind, weiß ich zwar nicht, aber was Anders viel mir nicht ein.

My secret garden/ mein erstes Journal

Im Rahmen eines altered Book/ journal Tausches via künstlerdecos habe ich mein erstes Journal gestaltet.Der Titel lautet "my secret garden". Ich war etwas in Zeitnot, da ich erst spät in den Tausch eingestiegen bin.Einmal ist die Vorder- und einmal die Rückseite zu sehen.
